⚠️ Important Notice: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your personal data will be removed, but certain medical records may be retained as required by healthcare regulations.

What Will Be Deleted?

When you delete your Novamax account, the following information will be permanently removed:

Profile Information: Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and profile picture
Account Credentials: Login credentials and authentication information
App Preferences: All your settings, preferences, and customizations
Search History: Your search history for doctors, hospitals, and medical stores
Saved Locations: Bookmarked hospitals, favorite doctors, and saved medical facilities
Membership Data: Active subscriptions and membership benefits (will be cancelled)
Wallet Balance: Any remaining wallet balance (please withdraw before deletion)
Notifications: App notifications and communication preferences
Emergency Contacts: Saved emergency contact information

Medical Records & Data Retention

Due to healthcare regulations and legal requirements, certain medical information MUST BE RETAINED even after account deletion:

Medical History: Consultation records, diagnoses, and treatment information (retained for 7 years)
Appointment Records: Details of doctor appointments and consultations (retained for 5 years)
Prescriptions: Prescription history and medication records (retained for 7 years as per pharmaceutical regulations)
Health Camp Records: Participation in health camps and screening results (retained for 5 years)
Transaction Records: Payment history for consultations and services (retained for 7 years per financial regulations)
Identity Verification: KYC documents and verification records (retained for 5 years)

Privacy Note: This data is stored securely, anonymized where possible, and will NOT be used for any purpose other than legal compliance and medical record-keeping. It will be automatically purged after the retention period expires.

What Happens to Your Healthcare Providers?

✅ Hospitals and doctors you've consulted will retain their medical records of your visits (as per medical practice standards)
✅ Your doctors can still access your consultation history for continuity of care if needed
❌ You will no longer appear in their patient lists or receive appointment reminders
❌ You won't be able to book new appointments through the app

💳 Cancel subscriptions - Ensure all membership auto-renewals are cancelled
